Thanks and apology for the issue encountered. Make sure the Splashtop Personal App and Splashtop Streamer are using v3.3.8.0 or newer to utilize these settings. not really a solution but can help debug/address the issue. The Splashtop Personal App and Splashtop Streamer for Windows and Mac have multiple configurations that can improve a remote session's performance in regards to frame rate (FPS) and CPU loading. One thing our team suggested to try is to turn on remote cursor in client toolbar and see if remote cursor shows the correct cursor changes. This happened to me on my first experiments and was the reason why sometimes i liked the reult and other times not so much, depending if I was using Splashtop or not. This seems abnormal situation as I have never heard of this. I believe that some of us are thinking our DAC is receiving hi-def data but in fact our sw is converting it to lo-def to comply with the settings defined by the Splashtop sw. In the next screen, Splashtop will show you the list of controls that can be used to navigate through your client system. Simply click and hold the file (s) you want to transfer, drag it from the original desktop window to the other computer’s. Methods of file transfer in Splashtop include: Drag-and-Drop File Transfer.
Just click on the client system to access it. The remote desktop file transfer feature makes it simple and easy for you to transfer any file between computers across a remote connection.
SPLASHTOP PERSONAL CANT SEE LOCAL DESTOP PC
My point is that, for sure there are several work-arounds to live with this problem but it would be much leaner if Splashtop had an option to disable the control of the Pc audio settings. Splashtop will automatically scan the network and find the client systems Splashtop streamer installed. I do not know if any sw can do it.Ĭ) It is possible that the sw we use to play music sends the bits to output disregarding the PC audio settings.
SPLASHTOP PERSONAL CANT SEE LOCAL DESTOP SOFTWARE
That is another fact.Ī) At connection, Splashtop is not always sucessfull on taking control of the audio settings, as example:ġ.if a hidef music is already playing with a software with "exclusive control", Splashtop will report that was "not sucessfull at setting correct audio settings for audio streaming" and settings are not changed.Ģ.if you define audio settings for your Pc and do not allow changes, Splashtop will report that was "not sucessfull at setting correct audio settings for audio streaming" and settings are not changed.ī) It is possble that the sw we use to play music has the ability to force the change of the settings Splashtop defined and do not allow Splashtop to change back.
That is a fact.Īfter that if/ when other program wants to change the settings Splashtop tries to change again to initial settings. Splashtop tries to take control of the audio settings at the moment of connection, to allow audio streaming.
